Did you watch the show last night? LOVED It! I always do..I'm such a groupie! Kenny a big winner, fourth year in a row for Entertainer...here's the complete list...

Just some observations...how many clothes does Carrie have? She sure changed enough...ok so I'm jealous....dang it! Did you notice the widow of an Afghan soldier introduce her to sing "Just a Dream?" Pass the tissues! Martina needs to embrace the fact that she's over 40 and fierce! Stop trying to be a youngun...what the heck was she wearing? Take a cue from Reba..classy lady! Sooooo good to see Shania! Did she seem nervous to you? Notice her blonde hair? Must be shedding her old image along with her stupid ex husband. I thought it was cute how Brad Paisley hugged Keith Urban, then kissed pregnant wife Kimberly's belly! Weren't Brad and Carrie cute as the co hosts? Although I still miss Vince Gill...he was the BEST! Also loved Taylor's very surreal romantic "Love Story" complete with dancers like from her video.....

Great show....I was happy they actually allowed Kenny to do his full acceptance speech!

Celebrity Heartworks

Hey guys...today has been a pretty good week so far for me! Cheap gas prices (I know, who-da thunk $2 was cheap??), Halloween is here (my fave!), Charlie Brown was on TV, WDTN is back on cable and I got a great report from my heart CT scan! No need to panic...but you all may remember how my Dad had to have a triple bypass and an aortic aneurysm fixed in the last few years. Since heart disease tends to run in families, I knew I wanted to make sure I was ok...so when the folks at Premier Health Network asked me to be part of the Celebrity Heartworks, I did! I've always supported women's heart health, the Go Red for Women campaign and I try to get to all the Heartwalks in the area, but this was different...check out my blog on their website!

Thanks to all of you for your kind phone calls and emails about Kerrigan. If you haven't heard, he is on sick leave. Just like you, (especially me!) we all look forward to his return!!!! In the meantime, he would really appreciate your emails and letters!

What's my name??!!

Ever call somebody by the wrong name? I must have one of those names that are easily confused. Last Friday, I was emceeing a talent show. One of the judges called me "Kim" the entire time! I wasn't sure what to do, so I just let it go, you know? Then I get an email today where the person called me "Kathy!" At least that was a little closer :) I try to be good at remembering, but if I'm not sure, I'll just tell somebody I'm having a blond moment and ask their name again. How about if we all wore name tags? Hmmmm....I might be on to something! What do you think?

Yikes! Don't honk off Tim McGraw! Did you hear the hottie is not happy with his record label, Curb Records? Apparently, Tim has been hard at work on some new material for an album of new songs he wanted to release some time this fall. He says he had been performing some new material on his latest tour and was anxious to give the fans some new music (we were anxious too Tim!) Well, according to Tim, his record label released a "Greatest Hits Volume 3" last week without telling him! Read the juicyness on Tim's website.

Why is Lance Smith's face so red?

You guys! Did you hear Lance Smith from CMT's Top 20 countdown on the show this morning? He was da bomb! He's really funny (and married) and cute (and married) and young (did I mention married?) But he shared some great behind the scenes stories with us and took part in the morning show contests and listener calls. He's in town to film next week's Top 20 countdown--he'll be stopping at the Air Force Museum and going to other different parts of the Miami Valley. But his first stop was with us. Cool, huh? He's been at CMT for nearly eight years and has written a children's book he promises to tell us about in the future. He told a funny story about his first day on the air with guest Dolly Parton. His parents came along for moral support and his dad told him, "no matter what, just look in her eyes. Don't look down!" Lance says he tried to keep focused on Miss Dolly's face when he told her how nice it was to meet her and how pretty she looked. When he asked her how she was doing, she said in her Smoky Mountain accent, "I'm fine, just shakin' these!" (you can imagine what she was shaking, can't you?) Not only that, but she shook them right against him! Poor Lance! Not many men can live to tell that tale, huh?? Check out our website for some great pictures of him!

Congrats to Dierks and Cassidy Bentley! Cass gave birth to 7 pound 10 ounce Evalyn Saturday night in Nashville. Everyone is doing great! They plan to call her "Evie." Let's just hope that they wean her from the bottle in good time...

You know I love celebs...and think Suri Cruise is adorable, even if her parents are strange. But why is she still on a bottle?? I have seen so many pictures of TomKat's little girl, who turned 2 in April, stick sucking on a baby bottle. Not a sippy cup, a BOTTLE! What's the deal? I can understand maybe needing one to go down for naps or before bedtime, but in public? Believe me, it'll mess up her teeth! I was a bottle baby for way too long and look what happened to me! I just don't get it...am I the only one?

And then, there's Angelina and Brad....parents to six kids, including twins born over the summer. Why, oh why is Ang carrying Zahara, the four year old? She looks as big as Angie, and she's schlepping her around...she's old enough to walk, isnt' she? Again, I don't get it...

Can any one essplain' this to me?

Jimmy Wayne takes it off, takes it ALL off!

"Do you believe me now?" singer JImmy Wayne had quite the fun time in Oakland last week...(NOT!) after a misunderstanding with officials left him handcuffed in his boxer shorts at the security gate.

Jimmy was scheduled to catch a flight from Oakland International Airport to his native Nashville on Thursday when he repeatedly set off the metal detector at the terminal's entrance.

And the star, who admits he was tired after catching little sleep, thought he was asked by the security guard to "take off his shorts."

He tells People.com, "I kept trying to get through and it would go off. Finally the TSA officer said something to the effect of, 'Remove your shorts,' and I thought to myself, 'Now that sounds a little weird, but I guess it's okay-- I mean they show guys in boxers in the Sunday paper ads, right? I guess maybe between not having enough sleep and not understanding him ... I don't know. I did it!"

But the guard's reaction made it obvious Jimmy had misunderstood his request-- he immediately called for back-up to help restrain the star, "He (guard) flipped! I ran back to the belt-- I thought I could grab my shorts real fast-- but the belt sucked the shorts up in the X-ray into the other side. So now I'm stuck in my boxers and everyone's staring."

Wayne was handcuffed by the back-up officers and questioned for 25 minutes as passers-by snapped him on their cell phones.

He was later released but admits he was scared of the consequences of his risque actions.

He adds, "I was scared to death because I thought they were going to take me to jail. Don't mess with Oakland and watch out where you take your clothes off!"
